After the sudden death of their parents in a plane crash, the two younger brothers named Ryūichi

Kashima (a new student in middle school) and his younger brother Kotarō (a preschooler) are left

orphaned and without a place to call home. The head of the prestigious Morinomiya Academy offers to look after the children, giving them a new home and free tuition, on

a condition where Ryuichi helps out at the school's daycare center

also attend normal classes during school hours.
